Seamless Platform Migration
MindArc executed a carefully orchestrated migration from the custom platform to Shopify Plus, prioritising data integrity and operational continuity. The phased approach ensured the business continued trading throughout the transition, with comprehensive testing validating every system before go-live.
Intelligent Freight Automation
Using Checkout Blocks and native Shopify functionality, we built sophisticated shipping logic that automatically handles mixed-goods orders. The system intelligently calculates freight based on product types and customer location, manages local delivery alongside third-party carriers, and optimises routing without manual intervention.
AI-Powered Product Data
Rather than applying all 1,000+ metafields to every product, we built AI to create intelligent data models that assign only relevant attributes based on product category. This eliminated data duplication whilst dramatically reducing manual data management.
Dynamic product titles were implemented to enable vehicle-specific content that adapts based on customer selection. This consolidates "super session products" onto single pages, improving SEO whilst simplifying inventory management.
Workflow Automation
Shopify Flow was configured to automatically tag orders based on product types, delivery methods, and order sources. This eliminated manual order categorisation, streamlining the pick and pack process whilst reducing fulfilment time.
SEO Migration
The SEO migration maintained search rankings whilst capitalising on improved product structure. Careful URL mapping, metadata optimisation, and structured data implementation ensured visibility was preserved and enhanced through the transition.
New Zealand Market
MindArc helped carparts2u consolidate their separate New Zealand domain into a single storefront using Shopify Markets. This streamlined their operations by dynamically adjusting content, pricing, and shipping for the NZ market while keeping all orders unified under one store, removing the complexity of managing two separate sites.
